Illustrator and Comic Book Artist

Anastasia Mezikaeva is a Spanish freelance Illustrator based in London, UK. She is passionate about narrative based videogames, TTRPG's and coming of age stories focusing on identity and blood vs water bonds. 

She has infused these passions into her own graphic novel, "Deadbeats 4 Vandals", an underdog/coming of age story set in the fictional island of Coreria, where the legal ban on creativity and art forces Amaya and her friends to fight the system through their punk music and teenage dreams. 

With an adaptable and varied style, and a strict dilligence for appropriate research and design exploration, Anastasia works closely with her clients to realise their visions and ensure their characters are working harmoniously in the narrative context they belong in. Colour dynamics and theory are her most trained  and enjoyed step of the process, steming from her knowledge and experience in traditional painting.

Outside of work, Anastasia exhibits internationally at conventions some of which include Wondercon (LA), MCM (Birmingham/London), Thought Bubble (Leeds) and Animangapop. She also enjoys using her storytelling passions to create compelling tabletop narratives for her friends.
